A big day was had by all today but they managed to reached their destination point of Nauro Village. When Pat called tonight he said they were all tired and that the rain continued so conditions still pretty much the same as yesterday except the hills were much tougher as they climbed Maguli Range. Tomorrow they plan on a short day and will head to Menari.

As planned, this group are now at Menari for the night. According to Pat, he says everything is going really great and tomorrow they will pass the half way point of Efogi and head to Naduri. Today the rain stopped but when talking to him on the sat phone it was again starting to rain. A big day ahead of them tomorrow as they tackle Brigade Hill before heading to Efogi to pick up the half way food supplies. Jonathan has been toughing it out a bit more than some of the others as he is carrying his own backpack but still doing really well. Keep it up trek 1101, half way point tomorrow!

This group have now reached Templeton's Crossing. Everyone is doing really well. Seems the two older men of the group are out in front everyday with the younger guys coming up the rear. Last night was spent at Naduri. Apparently some showers still but yesterday they had a fine day. Tomorrow they are heading to Isurava Village and the next day off the track when they walk into Kokoda.

Tonight they are perfectly placed to walk off the track tomorrow as they are now at Isurava Village for the night. Everyone continues to do well and looking forward to finishing their trek tomorrow when they walk out in Kokoda and under the archway.

Have just heard from Pat. They finished and walked under the archway 12:30pm today. He said they have been having problems with the mobile network so could not update me until now. Congratulations Trek 1101 on your successful trek. At the present time they are at Orohaven Pija relaxing and waiting for dinner. Tomorrow morning they will be flown back to Port Moresby. Photograph below was posted on Maryanne Suma's wall of them trying some bettlenut (buai) in Kokoda earlier today.
