These two treks got away from Kokoda around 1:30 this afternoon. I have just received an update from the track to say they have reached Deniki where they have stopped for the night. According to Kingsley Boropi, its a wet and slippery track so far. Tomorrow they will walk up to Isurava Memorial before a long walk ahead of them to reach Templeton's Crossing I. So far so good!

These two groups are now at Efogi the half way point. Tomorrow they have another big day as they head to Naoro for the night. According to Eric, the three with Ramsi, Haydn; Mitch and Chris are out front and the four with Eric have been coming up the rear. Everyone is ok however, and all doing well.

Kingsley Boropi just called to say they are all safely in Naoro Village after a hard tough day. He said everyone did really well - another day with no problems! Tomorrow they head down to Goodwater for their last night on the track and expect to walk off around 8am on the 15th.

These two groups are now camped for the night at Goodwater in readiness to walk off the track tomorrow morning at Owers' Corner. These guys have done extremely well as they chose a 'fast trek' and have nailed it, 5 nights, 6 days!

Congratulations to both groups of trekkers who walked off the track earlier today and headed to Sogeri Lodge for a few beers to celebrate. Later were driven down to Port Moresby as one by one they make their way to Australia. This morning they crossed Goldie River and made their way up their last climb to walk under the archway at Owers' Corner. Well done guys!
